We are a sustainable chemistry research group in the recently re-opened Chemistry Department at Swansea University. Our research is based on interfacing molecular and biological catalysts with nanomaterials into functional hybrid materials for solar fuel generation. Our research covers a broad range of energy-related topics including photo- and electrocatalytic CO2 reduction and H2 generation with quantum dots and photocatalytic reforming of waste plastics and biomass. We are also interested in combining fluorine chemistry with solar energy conversion.
Due to Covid-19, Swansea University is currently closed. All research and teaching activity has been suspended until further notice (see details here).
