We are a sustainable chemistry research group in the recently re-opened Chemistry Department at Swansea University. Our research is based on interfacing molecular and biological catalysts with nanomaterials into functional hybrid materials for solar fuel generation. Our research covers a broad range of energy-related topics including photo- and electrocatalytic CO2 reduction and H2 generation with quantum dots and photocatalytic reforming of waste plastics and biomass. We are also interested in combining fluorine chemistry with solar energy conversion.
